About the Course

This course is designed to provide delegates with a solid end-user foundation to optimally navigating SharePoint, creating and building SharePoint Sites, News Posts, document libraries, managing permissions.

In this course, you will learn how to:

Navigate and manage SharePoint Sites

Module 1: Introduction

• Understanding OneDrive, MS Teams vs SharePoint
• Basic site layout and navigation of SharePoint, Sites and News Posts

Module 2: Creating a SharePoint Site

• Team Sites vs Communication Sites
• Creating and navigating a new Sites (Team & Communication)

Module 3: Building a SharePoint Site

• Saving drafts, publishing or removing pages
• Publish, manage or remove News Posts from within a site
• Adding News Posts by using a link
• Working with sections and columns to achieve different page layouts
• Working with various webparts to optimise your site

Module 4: Building and managing lists

• Creating and managing Task Lists
• Managing SharePoint Calendars

Module 5: Building and working with a document library

• OneDrive vs SharePoint storage
• Build, manage and organise document libraries
• Sharing and co-authoring documents
• Checking in / out documents
• Version history and creating alerts

Module 6: Site permissions

• Manage site ownership, permissions and access with good governance and control

Booking Confirmation

Rescheduling

Cancellation

• Cancellation is available 4 weeks prior to training booked, thereafter non-refundable

No-Shows

• No shows on the day of training is non-refundable
